New York is a city of immigrants, everyone knows that. A collection of smells, colors, sounds and faces from all over the world together create one of the busiest and most intriguing cities in the United States. But where did they come from? How were neighborhoods like Chinatown and Little Italy created? Where did the Jews who filled every street corner on the Lower East Side go? And why does everyone want to live in these neighborhoods today?

On the tour, we will explore three important downtown neighborhoods from the Downtown are of Manhattan – Chinatown, the Lower East Side and Nolita. We will get to know not only their history, but also the present and the future - we will discover the dark and dramatic past of the Chinese in the city, we will visit spectacular Jewish institutions that slip under the radar of the average tourists, examine hidden pearls in a neighborhood that was once home to 100,000 Italian families, and briefly: we will take a look in the guts of the cultures so different (but in some ways so similar), Who lived in these neighborhoods.
