A native of the Apulia region in southern Italy I am also fluent in English, Italian, German and Spanish. Besides being a passionate travel I also like people, arts, history and food.

My love for New York City began when I visited first time as a child.
On my travels around the world I realized that New York is my home. Over the years I had an amazing opportunity to experience ALMOST everything what New York has to offer. I shared my experience and knowledge of the City with visiting family and friends. I always have been the favorite source of advices and tips for the best places to see, eat and shop. I enjoyed this so much that I decided to make this hobby my career.
Now, I would like to invite you to experience the Big Apple with me. My name is Ziv Helfman and I am your personal tour guide in New York. My tours are very personal and flexible for singles, couples and groups of any age. With me you will save money by avoiding ‘tourist traps’ and save time navigating streets and the public transportation (Subway). Let me show you the classic “Must See” in the City, the famous sites you have seen in movies and TV shows and the New York you have never seen, even though you have been here before. I will help to arrange your transportation from and to the airport and provide help with purchasing tickets for sport events, museums, concerts and shows. Lee Michael Klein has written for Performing Arts Journal (PAJ), L’Etage Magazine, M: the New York Art World, and NYArts. 
He was a contributing editor to NIGHT and A Gathering of Tribes, a literary journal.
For the Florence Lynch Gallery in Chelsea, he curated shows on hypertexture as it applies to the plastic arts. Klein’s “World’s Biggest Shopping Mall Poem,” (Linear Arts, 1997) may be viewed by appointment at the Beinecke, Yale University’s rare book and manuscript library. Klein has long been recognized as among the most freewheeling and irreverent of New York City tour guides.

I am professional New York City tour guide with years of experience, member of Guides Association of New York City (GANYC).
I love New York and will be happy to share my experience and knowledge with you.

I am native New Yorker, born and raised on the Upper East Side. 
I started giving tours back in 2013, and I still love showing my hometown to first time visitors and to locals.  
I do walking tours, bus tours and tours using the New York City subway (which is the best way to navigate New York City.    
In addition to being a tour guide I have also worked as an actor on numerous theater, film, tv and commercial projects.   

Maya is a multidisciplinary artist based in NYC. Her works combine ceramic and mixed materials, archival research, social interventions and food. Yadid explores ideas of collective and subjective memory, through her personal history as a third generation Jewish-Israeli of Yemenite and Turkish descent who immigrated to the U.S.

I am an Italian architect, longtime New Yorker and licensed New York City tour guide. I'm also a member of the Guide Association of New York (GANYC), one of the oldest tour guide associations in America. My love for this amazing city shows in each segment of my tours. I am fluent in English and native Italian speaking. I have extensive experience in guided walking tours, either private or any size groups and bus tours of medium to large groups. I’m also available for tours to Washington DC, Philadelphia, Boston and Niagara Falls. I can personalize my tours accordingly to your requests. I look forward to the opportunity to share my passion with you and bring you around to discover every hidden corner, explaining the history, secrets and helping you create long lasting memories!

It is my proud pleasure to show and share New York City, my home for twenty-one years, and professionally licensed Tourguide since 2008. As a 3.5 generation New Yorker I grew up hearing my parent's NYC stories and the city's trivia. Educated at Columbia University I was influenced by scholars including James Shenton, Kenneth Jackson, Raymond Horton, Kenneth Koch, and Mitchell Moss.

My life has held me entwined in the fabric of this great city. I was employed at major New York corporations and institutions like the New York Times, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Reader's Digest and IBM, and I have worked in community organizing, training, and management consulting for affordable housing co-operatives. I have helped a Chinatown Housing organization expand across New York City. I volunteered on the successful campaigns to revise the NYC Charter and to elect the first Dominican City Council Member in Washington Heights, the Manhattan Borough President, and the first Public Advocate, as well as several Mayoral and City Council Races. I led the registration of 5000 voters at Columbia University and in nearby Harlem in English and Spanish. I was a community gardener in the East Village. I continue to be active in community organizing and outreach programs.

אני זוכרת את עצמי מטיילת ברחובות ההומים של ניו יורק 2008 רואה את זרמי האנשים שיוצאים מהעבודה וחולמת שיום אחד גם אני אלך עם תיק צד לעבודה :) ובסוף זה קרה. יום אחד קבילתי הזדמנות לעבוד באמנות עם ילדי.

מכיוון שאחד מהתחביבים שלי זה אומנות, העיר הזו נותנת לי סיפוק אינסופי.

בנוסף אני ממש אוהבת גם לטייל ברגל ולצלם וזה גרם לי להתחיל לחקור וללמוד את ההיסטוריה המאד מעניינת שלה ולגלות מקומות קסומים חבויים מעין התיירים ותאמינו לי,  המאגר לא נגמר.

I was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel.
Came to New York City in 2001 and have been working in the tourism field since 2010.
Have been doing tours all over the north east region - Niagara Falls, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C and New York City.

Laurene does not like New York, she loves her city and its people.
This is how she chose to become a tour guide.
Originally from the world of Accounting and Finance, Laurene reinvented herself in the Big Apple.

Now a member of the Guide Association of New York, she gathers memories from the key figures of town she meets during her tours.
Laurene carefully curates each tour to provide a mix of different experiences including art, history, society, architecture, music and gastronomy.
